El Kamsa, the purebred Arabian horse

We are delighted to invite you to a special event featuring Dr. Mohamed Altedawy, historian, archaeologist and intercultural advisor, with extensive experience and knowledge of the Arab world and the Middle East.

On this occasion, he will present his valuable work translating into Arabic the writings of Carlo Guarmani, an Italian 19th-century traveller and keen observer of the Arabian horse. Through Guarmani’s experiences in the desert, the testimonies of Bedouin horsemen, the ancient manuscripts and Arabic texts he consulted, we will rediscover a vision of the Arabian horse that goes far beyond its beauty. A horse renowned for its intelligence, courage, endurance, elegance and loyalty, but above all for the profound bond that has always connected it to humankind.
